Blaze Bowling
A downloadable game
Hello everyone! This is my second Unity project, which I created both for myself and as part of my portfolio for future university applications. Compared to my previous project, I have learned a lot and was able to apply that knowledge to a new game. In Blaze Bowling, I used several new skills and techniques. I created the ball-throwing mechanic using raycasts, implemented a more advanced scoring system compared to my previous project, and created new UI animations using DOTween. I also learned how to work with SFX and music, and generally improved the visual presentation of the game. For the challenge mode, I created moving obstacles using Transform.position. I also improved my understanding of coding with colliders and Rigidbody physics. While working on the project, I faced quite a few difficulties. Because of that, I sometimes asked AI to explain certain concepts or help me understand how to fix something, but I never asked it to write complete code for me. Unlike my previous project, I did not make Blaze Bowling entirely by following a tutorial. I worked on it with limited access to the internet, so while coding I often had to figure out even basic information about certain methods on my own. I consider this project a small personal achievement because I learned a lot in a relatively short amount of time. I don't plan to stop here — I still have a lot to learn and improve. For my next project, I am thinking about working with enemy AI, which is something I would like to explore further. Thank you for playing Blaze Bowling, and I hope you enjoy the game!
